We can provide hand and upper limb therapy, functional capacity evaluations, work site assessments, suitable duties programs and return to work programs. If you have been injured at work please contact your General Practitioner for a referral. Department of Veterans’ AffairsHealthrise practitioners are registered DVA providers. Services include home assessment, equipment prescription, falls prevention, lymphoedema management and hand and upper limb rehabilitation. All veterans are also eligible for an annual home assessment under the Home Front falls prevention program. To receive your free assessment please contact Home Front on 1800 801 945. MedicareHealthrise can provide Occupational Therapy services to eligible people under the Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Scheme. To access this federal government subsidy please see your General Practitioner. Medicare funding is also available for Occupational Therapy intervention for children with a diagnosis of pervasive developmental disorder. This funding requires a referral from your paediatrician.
